The Festival of Hope and Light is a three-day event featuring concerts by world-class jazz musicians, local guest artists, worship and dance teams, and international speakers. The sponsoring organization has fourteen years of experience holding large-scale evangelistic gatherings but considers this Festival much more than an event. It is a prayer movement.

In coming to Hawaii, the All Japan Revival Mission desires to build bridges and work with the Church worldwide to reach the lost. They are responding to this mandate and the invitation of the Japanese churches on Oahu. Asthey work hand in hand with the American Body of Christ, they believe a victory will be won in the spiritual world. A great restoration of these islands will take place and revival will move out in waves to the nations.

The participation and cooperation of American believers is vital to this outcome. As members of nations once at war work and pray together, God will bring peace and unity. Where cultural differences were highlighted to divide, God will now use our differences to deepen our capacity to love.

We join the call of the Hawaiian church to reach its people for Christ. He is the One who banishes the darkness with light and unleashes hope with the dawn.

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation…
Ephesians 2:14 (NKJV)

"Our conviction is that the gifts and callings of the Church within the distinct cultures of these two nations, once separated by war, now unified in Christ, will make a powerful impact on the world."   --Joe Hite, Pastor, Yakima, W
